This one-hour paddle takes you straight to the two most stunning caves in the Chequamegon Bay portion of the Apostle Islands—and then brings you right back.

Set against the forested cliffs of the Bayfield Peninsula’s east side, these intricate sea caves offer beauty on a smaller, more intimate scale than the longer and more challenging West Side tours. You’ll glide through shallow, warm, and protected waters, making this tour ideal for families with older children, couples short on time, or anyone who simply wants to check “see sea caves” off their bucket list without taking up the whole day.

While not quite as beginner-friendly as our Bunny Hill Tour, this route is manageable for first-time paddlers who want a slightly more adventurous experience.
