1 Day Tandem & Triple Kayak Rental

Title: One-Day Tandem Kayak Rental – Chequamagon Bay (Launch at Bono Creek)

Description:

Explore the stunning sea caves of Chequamegon Bay with our one-day kayak rentals, available only for tandem or triple kayaks. This self-guided experience begins and ends at the Bono Creek Boat Ramp, where we will deliver your kayak. Paddle through quiet waters and discover some of the best sea caves in Wisconsin — all from a safe and scenic route.

Launch Location:
📍 Washburn, Wi (Either Memorial Campground or Thompson’s West End Park) – Your kayak will be delivered here for your morning launch.

Paddling Area:
– You must remain within Chequamegon Bay.
– Paddle to the Bono Creek Sea Caves (about 1 mile from launch).
– Intermediate paddlers may continue to Houghton Point Sea Caves.
– The furthest you may go is the Onion River. No travel beyond this point is allowed.

– Beginners must stay within Chequamegon Bay and should not attempt to paddle to the Onion River.

Rental Options & Pricing:

• Tandem Kayak (fits 2 people): $100 per day

• Triple Kayak (fits 2 adults + 1 small child): $125 per day
  (Note: All rentals are for full-day use and must be returned to Washburn, Wi at the coal dock or Thompson’s West End Park.)

Transportation & Return Policy:
✔️ We transport the kayak to Bono Creek for your launch.
✔️ You must return the kayak to Bono Creek unless you request pickup.
If you do not return to Bono Creek:

• 🚐 Pickup from Onion River: $100

• Pickup from Bono Creek Boat Ramp $50

• 🚐 Pickup from Washburn Coal Dock: Free
  (Pickup from any other location is not available.)

  • 🚐 Pickup from Thompson’s West End: Free
    (Pickup from any other location is not available.)

Important Rules:
❌ No single kayak rentals available for one-day rentals.
❌ No launching from any other location than the coal dock or Thompson’s West End Park Campground in Washburn, Wi
❌ No exceptions for paddling beyond the Onion River.
